This magnificent residence, which bears witness to the architecture of wealthy Protestant families of the 18th century, has a surface area of 200 m² on 2 floors and is surrounded by the magic of the oyster-farming landscapes and the marshes of La Seudre (presumably a future Regional Natural Park), very close to the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Oléron.
This residence, once owned by an illustrious family of local shipowners, retains an authentic character and rich history that give it an undeniable charm. Recently renovated to combine modern comfort with historic charm, Maison Garesché offers its guests three elegant and welcoming guest rooms.
Guests can enjoy a well-appointed outdoor space, including a beautiful courtyard and a small green garden, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Each tastefully decorated room features wooden floors, a shared kitchen, fully equipped and reserved for those who have decided to have their breakfasts and dinners on site (with supplements to be expected), a flat-screen TV with a wide selection of cable channels, and a private bathroom with a private shower and toilet, thus offering a pleasant and unforgettable stay experience. In addition, free Wi-Fi is available, allowing guests to stay connected while enjoying this peaceful setting.

This room is beautifully decorated with the owner's family furniture and has two comfortable 80cm single beds that can be easily pushed together for a couple or separated for those wishing to have their own bed. The surface area is approximately 30 m2. It was completely renovated at the end of 2024. Private bathroom with a sink, a shower cubicle and a macerator-type toilet.
Isaac Garesché Room
This is certainly the prettiest room at Maison Garesché. It's more of a suite with two 80cm single beds (possibility of making a 160cm queen-size bed). The surface area is approximately 25 m² and was completely renovated in late 2024/early 2025. The bathroom has a sink, a bathtub/shower, and a private toilet.
