Maison Garesché is organizing a special "Memory of the Marshes" evening on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 7 p.m. in Nieulle-sur-Seudre, in the heart of the Seudre marshes.

This friendly gathering invites you to discover the history and traditions of this unique territory between salt marshes and oyster beds.

On the agenda

• the history of the Seudre marshes

• the oyster farming traditions of the Marennes region

• anecdotes and memories of the village

• tasting of homemade specialties

This evening takes place in the authentic setting of an 18th-century Charentaise house, in the heart of the village of Nieulle-sur-Seudre.
